Our Story

Essentially founded in 1990 the Haute Shot Cool is a coined phrase by sister founders, Mary, Laura, and Molly McCarty.  The McCarty sisters grew up in Northwest Iowa on a farm in the middle of nowhere-- definitely somewhere to them--the place they poured over glossy magazines and daydreamed of living a luxurious life like the cool girls depicted in their so coveted magazines.  Any one with style, brains, and manners were deemed a Haute Shot Cool by the three farm girls.
