We were already big fans of the 1st of May. All childhood we celebrated with pretty paper handmade baskets filled with flowers and smiled offering up a "Happy May Day" to everyone we crossed paths with. In our adult lives knowing that The MET GALA falls every year on the 1st of May is just another annual event to look forward to with anticipation--even if we are just watching via television. Although, we're pretty sure we'll be receiving our invitation from Dame Anna Winter for next year's.
